What has happened in the past few months?
Meeting in Reus, Spain
Last February, the WINE project partners met in Reus, Catalonia, for the second transnational meeting hosted by DomSpain. In addition to the working sessions, participants had the opportunity to explore local wine traditions, visiting wineries and regional initiatives that blend history, culture, and wine tourism innovation.
The “State of the Art Report” is available!
The “State of the Art Report on Wine and Wine Tourism Sectors in Europe” is now online and available in all project languages.
It is a comparative analysis across six European countries (Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, Norway, Bulgaria, and Portugal) covering:
• the history and geography of wine,
• production trends,
• sustainability models,
• regulatory frameworks,
• training systems,
• and the skills currently required by professionals in the sector.
A valuable tool to understand the current context and to design effective training paths.
Digital tools coming soon
The online training course, made up of 7 modules, has been finalized and translated.
The content will soon be accessible through an interactive e-learning platform designed to provide a flexible and self-paced learning experience.
Meanwhile, the partnership is also developing an interactive map that will showcase and promote the best sustainable wine tourism experiences across Europe.
Next stop: Turin!
The next event will be held in Turin in September 2025 for the LTTA – Learning, Teaching and Training Activity, hosted by CIOFS-FP Piemonte ETS.
During the event, the training course will be tested, and participants will explore some of the top wine tourism experiences in the Piedmont region through hands-on itineraries and tastings.
